About the Role

<li><p class="font_8">Responsible for implementing, conducting, and monitoring cyber security system, client’s various endpoints, and network loggings </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Conducts network security scans to identify any undetected threats </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Ensures that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Resolves any issues related to network perimeter and security infrastructure devices </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Performs penetration testing, which simulates the methodologies used by cybersecurity threats </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Document relevant business processes and their implications with regard to cyber security </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Assist with the automation of monitoring and alerting processes and workflows </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Provide assistance to various stakeholders through a ticketing system and via direct contact Continuously advise, maintain, and apply industry best practices in cyber security, network, and data governance </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Participate in the change management process </p></li>
<li><p class="font_8">Daily administrative tasks, documentation, reporting, and communicating with the relevant departments in the organization</p></li>

Requirements
A background in Computer/Software Engineering or Computer Science is preferred, but open to non-conventional degrees and education if abilities can be demonstrated
3-5 years cyber security experience within a technically complex organization
2 years of work experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics
Strong understanding of cloud platforms and how they integrate into security models
Experience developing, deploying, and configuring security services and tools
Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques
Familiarity with operating system internals and hardening

Understanding of authentication, authorization, and directory services
Strong understanding of cloud platforms and how they integrate into security models
Excellent organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
A high level of professionalism and ability to collaborate and work effectively with all stakeholders
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, exercise initiative, diplomacy, and discretionary judgment
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities and demands
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
